Plaza de Cort: in the heart of Mallorca

We know that the title of this article may sound a bit hackneyed, but we have a very good reason for it. If Madrid is known for its emblematic "Puerta de Sol", Palma de Mallorca also has its own jewel: Plaza de Cort, the 0 point of Mallorca. And when we say 0, we mean it: it is kilometre 0 of the city. It may not be easy for you to locate the kilometre zero marker at Cort, but it can be a good challenge to discover the Mallorcan capital better.

Look up because the magnificent wooden eaves of the 17th century façade, which has just been restored, are well worth your time. If you have a telephoto lens on your camera, it's time to take it out. Not just to take the picture, but to appreciate the details of the wooden reliefs.
