The Nature´s Dyad in Mallorca

It took place last Saturday, in a day totally dedicated to nature. It started with a walk to the Commune of Lloret, where participants strive to contribute with anything they can to take care of the planet. Roads are cleaned and trees are planted according to expert guidelines. So that each action has really positive consequences.

Sa Comuna de Lloret

In the recreational area called Sa Comuna de Lloret the attendees gather. There are activities for all audiences. A great date to celebrate the nature that this year has reached the XXXI^st edition.

Some 150 kilos of garbage were collected, between adults and children, working together for the beauty of the environment. In addition, in this dyad they usually hold various workshops such as the manufacture of traditional instruments or the recognition of wild birds for their singing, which this year led the ornithologist Manolo Suárez.

There was also another initiative, to reforest the old municipal landfill, where about 50 oaks were planted. The day ended with a popular torrada before the hermitage of Mare de Déu de Lloret. A day full of fun and activities in which to care for and celebrate nature.
